Situated on Nowra Road between Moss Vale and Fitzroy Falls Mount Ashby is a boutique vineyard producing Pinot Gris, Merlot and Chardonnay.
In 2005 Mount Ashby Estate was the Southern Highlands Wine Show Trophy winner for best wine in show and continues to Produce the highest rated Pinot Gris in the Southern Highlands Region(See Hallidays 2010 Wine Companion)
The Cellar Door housed in a replica of the original dairy was opened in 2006 and forms part of a complex of buildings consisting of the early 20th Century Clydsdale Stables and the E F Davis and Sons Produce Store(c1918) relocated from Banyette Street in Bowral and now used to restore provincial antique furniture and to showcase the French Farmhouse by Sally Beresford range of locally made solid French Oak,Chestnut ,Cherry,Elm,Walnut and Baltic Pine Tables.
